Oh no! You're really that into Diablo Cody?! ... I thought Juno was a cute movie, but not because of the writing, and certainly not deserving of an Oscar (let alone a nomination). Felt like she was trying too hard -- like she was trying to knock-off Wes Anderson's style of humor/writing (or even Little Miss Sunshine's quirkiness) but came up short.
Not all that surprised that her big follow-up is teenage gore/skin flick ... Looks like another big ego-trip for Fox.
DUDE. I'm so excited for Jennifer's Body because it looks RIDICULOUS!!!! I'm so obsessed with the insanity that is Megan Fox.
Also, Scott: you should read Diablo Cody's memoir about her years as a stripper. It's called 'Candy Girl.' See, I wasn't a fan of the writing in 'Juno' either (I also thought it was so forced, not genuinely quirky, etc). But I think her book showcases what a good writer she can be. I dunno.
But 'Jennifer's Body' is gonna be terrible in the most perfect way.
